Early Voting / Ballot Tracking

Polling voters and tracking ballot results in order to model races and develop predictive forecasting

Early Voting / Ballot Tracking comprises of three main functions: Roughly a weekly survey of registered voters, cleaning and comparing survey results to voter files and retuned ballot data, and modeling the race as it progresses. Most voters submit their ballot by mail, so tracking results as they come in and matching them up to polling data is crucial in order to keep an accurate pulse on a candidate's stance in a race. The survey aspect of this service provides a regular temperature check of who has voted, who they voted for (self-identified), and also, among those who plan to vote, who they plan to vote for (self-identified). Before each survey, lists are cleaned to ensure that researchers are not re-tapping voters who have already returned their ballot. With this process, we track the ebb and flow of voting as ballots and surveys are collected over a roughly 30-day period.

With Early Voting / Ballot Tracking, organizations can access a high-definition look at the movement of ballot results as they are returned and gain a data-driven, predictive advantage over competitors, especially in the "last efforts" final days of an election. Know whose votes can still be captured and focus your campaign efforts to target the most promising groups, according to the data.
